Smilebox is a great site in which people can make slideshows of pictures in a themed background in which you can chose from hundreds of different designs. It is quite simple, but more complex than PhotoPeach. I would recommend using Smilebox with older grade because it is a little more complex and may confuse younger children. Background music, themes, and color schemes are just a few things that you, the user, can change to personalize it. This could be used for a variety of things such as classroom visual aide, a visual aide for the students to use in their projects, a site to discuss themes and use them, as well as, a variety of different things.

Giving students the option of PhotoPeach is a great opportunity to allow the students to show how creative they are in a visual manner. It is a very simple way of showing off pictures, which can be uploaded from your own personal computer, facebook, or other social networking sites. You can organize your pictures in any way that you would like and even have captions and background music, as well. It would be great for visual presentations for students and an introduction to using such visual aides in class projects. I believe that young children would be able to work with this site.
